Billions of Dollars in Health Care Fraud

A British company has agreed to pay $3 billion to the U.S. government to settle civil and criminal proceedings against them for fraudulent marketing of the drug Avandia a diabetic drug which has been linked to heart problems.  This is a new record amount surpassing the $2.3 billion paid by Pfizer in 2009.
